Careers at Rise Above Early Learning Center

Our Mission for Our Team

At Rise Above Early Learning Center, our mission is to build meaningful relationships, honor every child’s voice, and create a joyful, curiosity-driven learning environment. We show kindness, compassion, and professionalism in all we do, rising together through teamwork, cultural respect, and continuous growth. Every day, we strive to provide exceptional care and be a place where staff, children, and families truly feel they belong.

Our center mission is simple: to support a love for learning by encouraging creative expression and fostering positive relationships. Our team is how that happens!

Teaching the Reggio Emilia Way

Every child is a capable thinker with their own voice. That belief shapes everything here, and it shapes the way we teach.

New team members at Rise Above join a learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and relationships guide everything we do. The Reggio Emilia Approach invites teachers to become co-learners with children, observing, listening, and supporting their ideas as they explore the world around them.

So what does that look like day to day? You’re noticing what catches a child’s attention. You’re asking the question that stretches their thinking a little further. You’re documenting what you see and shaping the classroom around whatever your kids are curious about. If that’s the kind of teaching you’ve been looking for, you’ll feel right at home here.

What Makes Rise Above a Great Place to Work

Rise Above is a community built on relationships, respect, and genuine care. Our team feels valued, supported, and appreciated every day. Our owners go above and beyond for staff, celebrate diversity, and bring all cultures into the heart of the center. Teachers are encouraged to grow, collaborate, and bring their passion for children into meaningful work.

At Rise Above, you feel the difference:

  • A family-feel environment where kindness and teamwork come first
  • Owners who are present, supportive, and deeply invested in staff success
  • A culture that honors all backgrounds and cultures
  • A team of educators who are passionate, connected, and proud of the work they do
  • A place where children, families, and staff all experience joy, belonging, and growth

Rise Above truly lives up to its name. It’s a center where people rise together, support one another, and create something special every day.

What Your Day Looks Like

Relationships are at the heart of everything here. You’ll spend your day engaging with children, supporting curiosity, documenting learning, and working alongside teammates to create a nurturing environment. You’ll be on the floor with your kids, chatting with families at pickup, and swapping ideas with the educator in the classroom next door.

We look for educators who meet our licensing requirements and bring the heart-centered qualities that make this place what it is.
Work ethic and heart matter most to us.

“I’ve been part of Rise Above Early Learning Center for a little over 20 years, and I can truly say that the love and support from our owners is something special. They go above and beyond in every way; for the staff, for the families, and for the children. What stands out most is how they recognize and honor all cultures, bringing that diversity and respect into the heart of the center. With Holly and Charles, you feel it every day. Their leadership is genuine, hands-on, and full of appreciation. Working here now feels more like being part of a family than ever before.”

Ms. Meghan, 20+ years at Rise Above

“Rise Above has truly lived up to its name. I’ve seen the Rise Above team pull together, support one another, and rise above any situation that comes our way. I feel blessed to be part of such a talented and passionate group of ladies. Parents arrive and leave with smiles, the children are happy and engaged, and the learning environment is incredible. I’m proud to say that we are the total package.”
