Some friendships grow right alongside a child’s entire early education. Jan and Porter are proof of that.
These two started out as young toddlers, taking their very first steps into a classroom together. Over the years, they moved up through room after room, learning, growing, and building a friendship that never faded. This year, they graduated from our pre-k program together, at Rise Above.
Watching two children grow from toddlers into confident, ready for kindergarten pre-k graduates is one of the greatest joys of what we do. Watching them do it side by side, as friends the whole way through, makes it even more special.
Jan and Porter’s parents have seen this whole journey unfold, and they are sharing a few words about what their experience has meant to their families. Their story is a beautiful reminder that our Rise Above community is built one relationship, one child, and one friendship at a time.
