This month, our Rise Above classrooms are turning into a full scale investigation. Our featured project, I Am a Detective, invites our children to slow down, look closely, and ask questions about the world around them.
Our children are busy comparing fingerprints, examining tiny details with magnifying glasses, and following footprint trails around the classroom. Playful mysteries like “Who stole the cookie?” and “Where did Teddy go?” turn everyday moments into exciting cases to solve.
Some of our detectives will be decoding secret picture messages. Others will be matching shapes to crack a puzzle or listening carefully to figure out what is hiding behind a curtain. Every clue they find builds curiosity, teamwork, and problem solving skills that go far beyond the classroom.
This is what child led exploration looks like at Rise Above. We do not hand our children the answers. We hand them the tools to find their own.
