Every great community has people who step forward and say, “I want to help build this.” At Rise Above, that person is Ashley, our Parent Committee Chair, and we could not be more grateful she raised her hand.
Ashley and her husband Logan have been together for 11 years and will celebrate their 8th wedding anniversary this October. They are a household full of creativity, craft, and the kind of love for making things that fits right in with the spirit of Rise Above.
Ashley works for California Closets, helping clients transform their homes into spaces that work beautifully for their families. Outside of work, she tends a cut flower garden, takes on home improvement projects, and loves to read. She brings that same sense of intention and care to everything she does, including her role leading our Parent Committee.
Logan is a former professional chef and baker who now works for Acxion Food Service. His hobbies tell you everything you need to know: gardening, smoking meats, making hot sauce, and woodworking. He has a growing list of projects to build. Just ask Ashley.
Together, they are exactly the kind of family that makes Rise Above feel like home. Ashley’s leadership of the Parent Committee reflects her belief in this community and her desire to make it stronger for every family here. The committee is working to organize events, support the teachers, and create more opportunities for families to connect with one another.
