The Gingerbread Decorating Contest invites our families and teachers to create a gingerbread house filled with color, texture, and imagination. Families and teaching teams may use any materials they choose to bring their ideas to life. Finished houses should be brought to the center by December 18 so they can be displayed for the children.
On December 19, the children will explore the display and vote for their favorite house. This process encourages close observation, lively conversation, and simple decision making. The winning house will be announced on December 22.
